Browning T bolt question

I can't comment on the new T bolts in the 17 hmr but FWIW I have an old left handed one in 22lr. It is pretty accurate and super reliable. I would not hesitate to recommend the t bolt

The new Browning t-bolts are accurate and function reliably judging from the new one I owned for a week two years ago. But the "gold" coating on the plastic trigger started to flake off after a day of use. I returned it and Wholesale sports actually agreed to a full refund! I just can't pay a premium price for a gun with cheap plastic parts.
So then I paid even more for a vintage Belgian made T-bolt grade II - and found out it has a plastic trigger and plastic sights too! But I like the old one better...

Been running my Great Grandfather's T-2 for 20 some years and no problems at all, that is other than me falling on ice and breaking the stock. That sucked.
Haven't heard any bad on the new models.
