Other than JARD, does anyone make a replacement trigger for the Browning T-Bolt? (Newer model). Even with the trigger pull adjustment screw backed all the way out, the trigger pull will not fall below 4 lbs. Ugh :(.

Them Jard's are pretty spendy by the time they git upp'ear.
Might be warranty if it doesn't fall below the owner's manual spec's.
I do beleaf Reliable is the Browning warranty center.
Might be werth a call?

The manual say 3.5 lbs with the screw backed out (still too heavy) but I've probably already voided the warranty. The trigger group was loose on the receiver from the factory. I had to remove the "void if removed" sticker to tighten the screw that secures the trigger group to the receiver. Maybe worth a call tomorrow. Can't hurt.

I got mine to just under 3 pounds from a minimum of 4.5 by carving some plastic affecting the adjustment screw i forget what i did now. Its pretty good now but i wouldnt buy one again having to butcher the plastic to get a decent trigger pull. I might have shortened a threaded bushing that was set in the plastic too, something like that, anyway you can fix it

Thanks for the suggestions and link. I no longer have the eyesight or finesse to work in close on small parts.

Damn lawyer trigger that Browning decided to install . It grieves me to spend so much on a replacement trigger from JARD. I like the rifle but a 4 lb trigger pull on a 22 is ridiculous.

Talked to Reliable. Nutshell: No factory recalls, trigger pull and adjustments will vary from rifle to rifle, etc. I explained I shouldn't have to spend alot extra to get a decent trigger pull or mess with the factory trigger.

It is what it is.

I was thinking of picking up a X-bolt in .223 Rem.

I've changed my mind.

A JARD trigger is going to cost $364.00 CA plus taxes at the border.:(

The part I don't get is how much the factory triggers vary rifle to rifle from great to sh!t. But I can recommend that if you have a heavy type, the spring bendy fix is predictable to the article posted from rimfire central. I haven't scaled it but estimate mine breaks clean bellow 2# now. The bolt can back all the way out without the release with the safety on if you lighten it too much. But you can increase the pressure with the factory adjuster even after the fix until it works properly.

I've decided not to order a trigger from JARD at this time. I'm going to attempt the springy bendy thingy suggestion first and save my cash. If I can knock a pound off the pull, I'll be happy.
