Browning T-Bolt Target/Varmint .22 Lr.... Yes.. No...?

Used my fathers this summer for shooting gophers one weekend. Very accurate and fast rifle, ergonomics are top notch and it works like a charm. The mag appears a bit goofy till you load it up, it is quite slick and works 100%. If I had the funds I would buy one in a heartbeat and it would be front and center in my .22lr gun safe. The only nitpick I have is that there is plastic on the rifle; for price I would expect milled and blued steel for the trigger guard.

The plastic trigger guard on them is a deal-killer for me. For the price these rifles sell for, I expect a little more attention to little things like that. I don't care much for the gaudy gold trigger, either.

It's too bad, because they otherwise look like nice rifles.

Given the price, the plastic killed the deal for me. I was seriously looking at one last year, after trying one at the range, which I liked. Of course, THAT one did not have the plastic.
