Hey guys, I recently recieved a Browning T-bolt made in Belgium from a friend. It was pretty well neglected and theres some nice rust blooms along the stock and some on the barrel. Another issue is that the finish on the stock seems to have split, it looks like someone went along it and cut into the finish. Now what I was wondering, are there any aftermarket stocks available for these if this one happens to have a salt stock?? thanks

I don't know if there are aftermarket ones for it, but you could always just try refinishing the stock with one of those Birchwood Casey kits.
I did it with a Lee Enfield stock and it turned out very nice with some elbow grease.

Salt stocks are OK to refinnish you just have to seal the stock verywell, if you want it fixed and can't find anyone in your area PM me as I am an cabinetmaker(18years) and have worked on repair/refinnishing of gunstocks for 12 years ,the finnish probably has crinckled, this happens to certain finnishes over time, some are more noticable than others, best of luck Dale in T-Bay:wave:
