I don't understand all the hype about spare mags for a bolt gun

There's no rational answer... But some of us have that uncontrollable urge to have at least 5 magazines for any given firearms... but 10 spares are actually better

1 in the grain truck.... 1 in the parts truck.... 1 in the other truck... 1 in the tractor.... 1 in the other tractor... 1 in the shop or 2 .... 1 in the gun cabinet... 1 in the gun case....
now where did i leave that stupid mag. better grab another one while i'm in town

Makes sense

I grew up with and still have a Brno 21H with the set triggers.
Yes, I am partial to nice triggers.
If one is thinking about the gall darn trigger, then the target is
suffering.
Never been a club foot either.

Thats right,didn't think of it,that way.

Plastic trigger guard is maybe better than ones made from cheap casting metal of some type.
Once had one of the older, doted on, Ruger 77s with the tang safety. Gave a couple ounces too much pressure on tightening the guard screw, and oops, broke off.
Some type of white casting.
