I got a 17 hmr in the target/varmint version when they were first reintroduced, had to wait 6 weeks until the distributor shipped them out. It was more of a nostalgia purchase as my uncle used to bring his t-bolt along when he would visit from Alberta 40 years ago and we'd spend days whacking groundhogs with it, when we still had plenty of them. If you are planning on using it for rabbits or grouse I'd go with the 20 grain hollowpoints, although it is fun to watch starlings and crows go poof with the 17 grainers.
