Hi there,
Overall,best guess........is it better than the Tikka T3 Lite .223 ?
Also does anybody know if the X has the same magazine locking bar like the A and T bolt does??
Also are they available in Canada ? Does anybody have one in stock ?

Different mag. alltogether from the A-bolt. Better than a tikka? Hasn't been out long enough to prove itself. Has a very good feel to it well designed stock. .223 in Canada? Havent seen it yet.
 
Thanks,just as I thought.Wholesale sports in Calgary have them on order but no idea of an ETA,which is frustrating...........so to confirm it has a typical 'normal' magazine,press release out it pops etc.
How long can one expect to wait,if it's coming direct from the factory..........there shotgunjoe.........is that a stupid question ?
 
its a new cartridge (along with 22-250) for the Xbolt in 2009 so it may not arrive until later in the year, it really is almost impossible to know when. I have a Composite stalker in '250 on order

i think it came out in the States in '08,I've looked everwhere on the web,can't find one,damn and blast.

LOL.... can't answer for wholesales order filling. Between when its made,shipped,recieved,registered there are too many variables. The mag does just pop out as you described it is also made of plastic although appears to be more solid than Tikkas and I haven't heard of any of there mags crapping out yet.
 
ok,so it's on order.I'm reading all i can get to read about it,the ring mounts or how they are located aren't run of the mill or so it sounds to me ............so do i have to order gun specific ones ie,from browning or will a number of types work just fine ?
yes i'm a little (new) confused.

Leupold has had there mounts and rings out already they come in black or silver and are two piece dual dovetail and of course you can get X-lock right from Browning that are one piece set. Price works out the same for either one.
 
Can I presume the x lock from Browning will work just fine ?

They work just fine, and are sold seperately as said above.
 
Browning firearm delivery is notoriously unpredictable. It has to do with importing into Canada and you can count on it being late. I waited for the BAR ShortTrack almost two years from the announcement.

Well I 've decided I can't wait so here's my plan get a Tikka T3 Lite syn in .223,then get the X Bolt in a bigger calibre later..............good or bad decision ? Comments welcome.

I've had time to do research etc,bang for buck,reliability,quality etc Tikka makes sense to me..................they've only had my PAL 3 weeks and the waiting is a killer.
