Appreciate your kind and encouraging words folks, thank you. My daughter and I get a kick of reading your comments together....she's excited to purposely go out rabbit hunting for a follow-up episode on bunny-burgers.
rascal1: no, she is only 11 right now so not legal to hunt deer until she's 12. This happens shortly though, and we took the Alberta Hunter Education Online course over the Christmas holidays - she is chomping at the bit to go deer hunting and it will happen for the first time this coming season. I am probably as-excited as she is (ok, maybe more).
Gillshot: We think the rabbit is a white-tailed jackrabbit (Lepus townsendii campanius).

As the father of a two year old girl, I can only hope she's half as interested as yours in hunting/shooting/fishing. She's a great hiking buddy now and loves her trips with daddy to Cabelas/BassPro so hopefully she hasn't fallen too far from the tree. Awesome video, truly an inspiration for us impatient dads waiting to do stuff like that with our small kids,
