Hi Folks!

I was lucky enough to get out this afternoon with my oldest daughter. She's just passed her Alberta Hunter Education Training and will be turning 12 this summer...both of which she's super-excited about because that means she can come with me deer hunting this coming fall....WOOOHOO!! So she can make a clean kill this fall, she's been keen to work on improving her skills with a rifle...come along as she takes us on her Epic Buck Hunt - the rehearsal 1.0

Once we get her marksmanship & deer anatomy skills up to par, we'll start working on her stalking skills and fieldcraft... As we were heading out to our practice spot, we were thrilled to bump a herd of 8 deer...Julia excitedly exclaimed "look Dad! Those are mule deer, right? Will we be hunting them this fall?" Sometimes I think I'm the luckiest guy alive.
