Time for my "last" new hunting rifle. I assume they are both accurate with nice triggers and a smooth bolt. But I keep flopping back and forth, I have 2 Tikkas and like them. What are the pluses and minuses of each?

Thanks.

Don't know how much actual help you'll get.
Browning fans tend to not think much of sako's;
Sako fans tend to be pretty fanatical about them.

I will say, (as a browning fan), that when sako's first came into the country I was shopping for a new a bolt. I took a look at the sako, but quite frankly at least at that time the fit and finish just didn't justify it being in the same price range of an a bolt. Haven't looked at one since though.

Also to be fair, I know nothing of the new x bolts, either.

I finally held a sako A7 yesterday. I was not impressed at all. It did not feel good. It felt cheap to me. I did not shoot it. Guys say they shoot good. The stock had the hollow sound.

For me X-bolt all the way.
