browning x-bolt

I got mine 3 weeks ago. A stainless stalker in 300win, I loaded up some 180gr Hornady SST's, sighted it in and it puts them 1/2 inch apart at 100 yds. The fit and finish is great. The detachable mag is smooth and puts my Remington tos shame. The gun is really light and the recoil pad works just like they say. The trigger is good but still not as crisp as my Remington, although I haven't tried adjusting it yet. I have always been a Remington fan, but I think the x-bolt is well worth the money. I will be hunting with it in a couple days so my trusted Remmy will be staying home and may even end up on the board.
 
I got a 280 composite stalker. Love it. First group with factory 140 grn TSX was MOA and virtually every load I've thrown together just to fire form the cases ranges from moa to 1 1/2" with one even half-moa. I'm using the fire forming and 162 grn Hornady BT to get a sense of what powders appear to work well. So far, it's H4831, RL22, (both equally good) and then RL19 and IMR4350 look promising. Now I'm not at any high end max loads yet but will start working them up soon.
