Hey guys, I just got my 20 MOA rail ,from you guys.

It's 10 pm and I was wondering,if you see this tonight, can you tell me the torque specs ,for the rail.

If not ,I'll call tomorrow.

Thanks.

17inch pounds with a drop of blue thread locker has kept my xbolt rail rock solid.

Thanks, I got a set of ATRS rings as well, they had instructions,as to the torque values.
And also stated not to use locktight.

But the rail had no instructions.
I'll try what you said though.

NO unless you never want to get the scope out of the rings

Umm,I meant to say, Blue locktite.

I've used it on plenty of rings/ mounts, with no issues.

But your info/spec sheet, says not to use locktite.

So I just wanted to clarify.

Having said that, is blue locktite even needed on any brand of rings? Or is it just a myth?

In the nearly 50 years I have been in the industry I can't recall any decent quality rings needing Loktite. Certainly ATRS rings do not require the use of Loktite at all. The rails we recommend some Loktite being used simply to prevent any chance of the screws loosening up.
