Any BRS-99 owners out there? More particularly, are there any BRS-99 owners out there who have figured out what the options are re: mounting a laser device into that handy forend slot?

It's just so cool, it needs to be done :p -- but I'm at a bit of a loss as to what my options are with respect to a specific make and model of laser device.

Thanks, in advance, to anyone who can offer a knowledgable opinion as to what works and fits properly.

I have a cheap ass laser mounted in my handguard. It shifts its point of aim a bit and is really quite useless. Looks cool though. The foregrip is made for the SureFire convertable unit with the laser head and flashlight head. That is a 400+ dollar setup though. Here is a picture of my BRS-99, its starting to look like a done up Honda Civic... all show and no go (damn 5 round mags). The suppressor is fake of course.

I just recently got a BRS-99 that came with a frikken lazer beam...it immediately came off and the folding grip went on!:D

As for the gun itself, it is kinda fun to shoot, 'cept for the cheek weld.:p It turns alot of heads! As for accuracy, it is on par with a good handgun, maybe a little better.

They are registered as a restricted rifle, hence the 5 round mags. My BRS-99 is quite accurate, think of it as a really big pistol with a 7.5" barrel. I also just bought a 10.5" barrel for it, I am going to try and see what I can do at 100 meters with that setup. At 25 meters it is quite trivial to get 2.5" and less groupings. Recoil is nearly non-existant and the sights are pretty decent. The chrome lined barrels make cleaning a snap. It is a great, reliable and ###y looking carbine for a good price! New they cost 1695+GST and shipping. Comes with a 3 point sling, 3 25/5 mags, 1 15/5 mag, cleaning kit, mag pouch and thigh holster. I also got a folding front pistol grip with mine. The longer barrel is 115 bucks, spare parts are in stock and spare mags are 4 25/5 mags and a pouch for 186 dollars. Great little carbines!

A interesting thing to try is to get DPSS laser in the 80-120mW range and mount that in your gun! DPSS are infrared pumped lasers that are brilliant green! They are visible even during daylight!

BTW: how are the BRS99s for accuracy? ..also they are registered as a rifle? They look like a pistol to me.
How much did you pay for one of these?
