i was just thinking how u could fit it and 4-5 30 round mags in a laptop case.... crazy concealed power.
Ok this thread is costing me money.
I am going to call Wolverine on Monday to see if they can get in the non pistol grip version.![]()
Can you get the M1913 railed top covers through them?.
The TP9 is a fine piece. It's very light, quite accurate. Boringly reliable.
Things I don't like: Mags don't drop free. Can't insert a loaded mag on a closed bolt, due to the location of the neuter pin. Small mag release, bolt release and safety.
I've fired both the MP5 and TP9. The MP5 is heavy and large in comparison. Makes the TP9 feel like a squirt gun. The TP9 gives up nothing to the MP5 in terms of accuracy, at least not in my experience. I didn't mind the trigger. If you run a GLOCK you'll be used to it.
I just traded mine for an AR. I'll probably regret trading it, as usual.![]()
Last week when I try one out in Target Sports the mag does drop free. Also, from this pdf website (h ttp://www.bt-ag.ch/pdf/SM-TP9.pdf) page 13 it says the mag can be loaded to a closed bolt. Is it possible that it is a different version
what is says and what it does are two different things, i'd take someone's hands-on experience over something in writings also, the mags dont insert on a closed bolt due to being pinned quite tightly (when 5 rounds are loaded) from what i understand
I collect the semi-subs, and my TP9 is my fave. The only thing smaller is my Skorpion, but the TP9 is way more ergonomic. Fun on a bun.
Mac-12 is smaller too.
Does anyone use a holster with it?
Cool little gun. I would love to try on some day if I ever meet someone near me that owns one.
Someone had posted a pic of their spouse sporting a shoulder rig with the TP9 in it. It looked pretty cool. Unfortunately the search feature sucks @ss and turned up nothing.
Regards,
