Brunton binoculars, your thoughts about them..

I was thinking about buying the Brunton Eterna 15x51 binocular, but first does anyone have any experience with Brunton binnos? How clear are the lenses?

I like the idea of a 15x binno, but only if the lenses are clear. The Bruntons are about $500.

So far I can not locate a Canadian dealer who carries the 15x in stock for me to inspect before buying.

I have a pair of Brunton Epoch 8x and am very impressed with them. They are better than my B&L Elite in the same magnification.

The Eternas I don't know much about but they get a decent review here.

FWIW, you have a steadier hand than me. I don't think I could managed a 15x binocular. 10x is about as high as I go.

Thanks for the link, Claybuster. You're right. I would need the help of leaning against a tree to recieve a steady image at 15x, but I think the bigger power would make the hunting day a little better, possibley.
