Brushed Chrome Desert Eagle .50AE

damn there was one on the EE for $1000 recently, I am sure that it sold in under an hour, I think I would have picked it up for that price

0 trader rating though, hope it wasnt a scam

Yeah, all the good deals seem to be from new sellers with 0 Trader Rating.:(

There is a brand new gold tiger-striped one on the EE now! I thought about it but what would the guys at the range think? The only thing worse than looking like a mall ninja is looking like a 3rd world warlord :D

It was $1050, wasn't a scam (afaik), and it was in .357. I passed on it as the owner was honest and told me he had some issues with it cycling.

I had a black .44 once that would only cycle properly with +p ammo (which was expensive, needless to say). I got it used and have a feeling the first owner used lead bullets in it. Maybe your guy did the same?
Because of the gas tube, you need to use fmj rounds apparently, otherwise the lead fouls the system.

Bwahahaha! I love the fact that the last tidbit is "Made in Israel."

1. No kidding.

2. Does that mean it has extra Jewiness?

Huh. I did not know they made them there, too. I did, however, see the big fat "MADE IN ISRAEL" on the frame..

Now, about the Jewiness?

Apparently, the ones made in Israel, are blessed by a rabbi.

I guess that makes them somewhat "kosher".:D

yup. the new ones are made in USA. The fit and finish on the new ones is junk compared to the IMI ones.

The new ones are still made in Isreal as well... you actually pay about 75 extra for the one made in USA. Apparently the QC on the American ones is higher so you pat more.

one says made in USA, one says made in Israel. To me that says they are not both made in Israel. I have owned both, a 44 made in Israel, as well as the 50 i have now made in USA, and i can tell you from owning both, the QC is not the same, and they are actually ####tier.
Had mine out today, fired a couple hundred rounds too. :)
My friends head was bleeding from all the brass hitting him. LOL i never got one off the forehead. 3 different half moons on his forehead. It was pretty funny.

I have the .44Rem Mag albeit in black. Long thought about getting the .50AE conversion.
May very well be my next purchase.. right after I shoot my new 5" S&W 460:cool:

Magnum Research is based in USA and the IWI is the manufactor. To be sold in the USA there needs to be some finnal manufactoring done there. Hence why all manufactors have the facilities in the USA and also in there country of origin.
