BSA .22 Repeating Pump

Recently found a 1903 Savage .22 Pump. (1903-22)
Haven't taken it to the range yet.

Here's a better pic of one.

Went surfing for info and stumble across a BSA pump 1923 which also has a removable magazine.
Notice how the mag is on a slant.

Wondering has anyone seen one of these in Canada?
Or do you think they are as rare as a Mossberg Model K Pump?

Those savages were know as "The Visible Loader" as you could see the function clearly through the ejection port. Those who owned them often called them "Miserable Loaders".

I got one of the savages from my grandpa. Its a 1909 though. He bought it 50 years ago and never shot it. I tried to but the chamber is stretched out and the case splits and get stuck. The magazine spring is also shot. Numrich might still have some newly made magazines. I wish mine was in good working order cause it would be a fantastic gun. Very simple internals and is a take down.

It does make a nice wall hanger though
