Nice rifle - Im partial to the BRNO's and I like these BSAs as they have the dovetail scope mounts as well as the CRF.

Didnt BRNO make some of these actions for BSA?

Older descriptions of the "Royal / Hunter / Featherweight" rifles;

At first, they introduced the short action, chambered for the 22 Hornet and 222 Remington only.

Then, in 1956, they introduced the medium action as below.

1957 Publication (from the 1956 production)

In 1957, they introduced the long action in two trims "Hunter" with standard barrel weight and round nose fore end and the "Featherwight", with light barrel and schnabel fore end.

1958 Publication (from the 1957 production)

In 1959, they introduced the "Majestic" line but they continued to assemble the previous remaining "Royal" at least 'til end of 1960.
