BSA Aussie Martini Cadet in .357Mag

That is a sweet little rifle. Hope to hear a range report.

Should be pretty easy to tell if it's 357 as opposed to 310.

First try out tonight. Not bad at all. Shows some promise and very pleasant to shoot it.
Let a few friends try and all liked it.

Dark indoors range, target at 15m, shot off the elbows, with my regular progressive glasses. Lost focus on fifth shot. Left both pairs of shooting glasses at home. Aimed center of black.

I will tell you way ahead when comes to town visiting from the US. He was actually here last year late August. He had a memorable day shooting Ron's rare collection. I bet he'll have quite a feast with your toys next time he comes to town. Between the collection of you and your brother, I don't think he will want to return to the US.

Found out some details from original owner.
He bought it as a barreled action in .357mag from Ellwood Elps in the late 50's.
Barrel came the way it is now with that taper.
Rear stock came from EC Bishops as a blank, which he chiseled and finished off.
Fore stock wood was from local lumber yard. He made the fore stock hanger pieces.

He shot it again today for the first time in many years, along with putting a few shots downrange with ton45-II's Martini in .303.
