Hey guys, I would appreciate if you could place a value on this BSA Enfield .303
The info I have is it is 1914 - 1918, recommissioned 1953
I believe it’s a No.1 MKIII
Bore seems to have good rifling.
Shoots good at 100 yards and has been really well kept, but I never take it out.
The leather strap looks as old as the rifle and I have 3 magazines with it.
Looks like a scope was mounted on the top as there are 2 screw holes.
Got it about 10 years ago after a friend’s father passed away.
Thanks for any help.

Thanks guys, that’s what I figured as well. I’m selling a bunch of stuff I don’t use anymore and someone may enjoy it instead of it sitting in the closet.

It’s a Lee Enfield. Lots of “Enfield” rifles around, but they are a different rifle altogether. A lot of the American Enfield 30-06 rifles were refurbished and sporterized by BSA and stamped with the BSA crest. People sometimes mistake them for BSA rifles.
