Hope this isn’t in the wrong category.

In my possession is a bsa Lee _?

  • it has a 100 fixed rear sight followed by 2 flip up express sights 200/300 and completed by a ladder sight
  • No mag cut off slot
  • 5 rd mag
  • proof marks “bsa rifles in a circle” “proved and sighted for the .303 mk vi cartridge” “nitro proof”
  • checkered butt plate with trap door
  • matching bolt and receiver
  • no dust cover
  • angled front sight post

With the details described I haven’t seen 2 Of the same rifles, one has more or less then the other
ive been referenced to the skennerton book which no luck with my particular model.

from what I gather so far I can narrow my rifle down to 1904-1910 due to the mk vi proof mark
is there a way to check the serial # with a database?

Im trying to take pics of the markings but it’s not working out with my camera, I hope the described info is enough to try and pin point what model I have.

thanks, and have a great day

that is one of the commercial sporters.

now nailing down the date is always interesting.

I don't see the LeeSpeed patent markings so that will help a bit.

I don't have my notes or books unpacked so I can't help much more that that.
