BSA Martini Model 12

I need your help. I'm trying to place a value on the M12.
I'm also wanting to replace the butt plate. Where can you find parts?

We'd need a little more information...

As in
- Condition of the bore?
- Condition of the blueing?
- Condition of the stock?
- Any alteration done to the rifle?
- Original sights?
- Anything missing?

I've seen complete rifle go from $50 to a few hundred's...

You might have a wee little bit of trouble finding parts. That is taking into consideration that they stopped making that rifle about 80 years ago. Look at the Forums on www.Rimfirecentral.com for suggestions, and also here http://www.martinihenry.com/links.htm

If it has a shaped butt end, ie: not flat, then looking for a matching butt plate makes some sense.

If it has a flat end on the stock, measure the dimensions, and buy a universal replacement plate and have it installed and be done.

But you never know, you could get lucky and hook up on one.

I don't think it would make any real difference to a guy buying it whether it was original or not. If it was well installed.
