After loading some 216 grain Norma SP match bullets for my BSA I took it to the local range. The 216 grainers shot 1.5 inch at 75 yards and the 180 Sierra's shot slightly bigger but I was also shooting fast. I am amazed at the accuracy of a rifle that was made in 1942 wartime England. I will be happy if the Longbranch that I have coming shoots as well.:D
I like the newer stainless scoped hunting rifles that I have but the Enfields have their own magic.......;)

We actually hqave a .303 British class in our rifle rodeo up here.
It is by far the biggest class shot.
The only requirement is irons and a rifle chambered in .303 British.

Everything from Bubba'd No.4's to box stock factory No.1's and longbraches compete, and there are Enfields up here that will shoot less than 1MOA on some days!

All of the Enfields have a touch of class , I would not say one is better than the other as I enjoy all versions of this classic rifle and the cartridge.:) But no bubba's here and if I do get one I usually try to get it back to original asap or use the parts to transplant into another to restore it.
I hope to have my Longbranch shows up today....................:D
Sometimes Canada Post really s----.................. .never mind

All you have to do is cut the wood and metal and add a scope, and you'd have yourself some nice rifles;)

But seriously, 6 smellies and 5 No4's!?! I have no choice but to hate you:D If, one day you feel the need to let any of those go, you know where to find me! Those are some very nice guns, well done.
