I know, low end scopes, go get a Leupold.

I ended up with a Barska 8-32x50mm AO and a Pursuit 6-24x44mm AO, I have a BSA Contender 6-24x40mm.

I have a 222 and a 223, the Contender is on the 222, would the Barska or Pursuit be any better than the BSA? I do not plan on cranking up or down once things are sighted in.

I know they are lot end but I have them, did not buy them and have a $0 budget for scopes.

I have a barska 6-24x44 on my 2506 and while it's not great glass it's not overly terrible. Colors distort and higher magnification definitely cloud the outter edges but it tracks so well. I'd take it over any of the package deal scopes on the market
I have a BSA 2.5x20 on my double rifle I'm looking at upgrading but solely for just adding adjustable magnification. I bought it because it had enough eye relief to mount well forward. Both scopes have held up thru years of atv use and being banged about while hunting

Sounds like you need to do a side by side comparison and see which looks best to your eye.

If you're willing to put in some effort and mount the scopes then take pictures through them you could turn this thread into a nice comparison between the 3 with relation to field of view, clarity, chromatic aberration, etc.

That may be something I could do with a 22, not on the BSA as I have that one sighted in but maybe the Pursuit and the Barska

Yes, I know they are cheap scopes, but I have them and don't feel like replacing them.

I only have one BSA, it's a bit older and just 4x32 fixed, pretty compact, have it on a little 22, eye relief is quite long and the eyebox is good too, clear wide field of view, got it with a bunch of old scopes from an old retired hunter, turns out it was keeper.
