Bonnyville Shooting Sports Association is proud to host a WRAS 3 Gun Match in Bonnyville, Alberta on saturday 13 August 2016.

Details are being finalized but....

- 4 to 6 stages
- Approximate round count: 100 rifle, 100 pistol, 50 birshot and 5 slug.
- $40 match fee.
- we are trying to limit the match to 30 competitors.
- safety briefing at 9am
- Note: rifles will only be .223 Rem/ .556

Awesome news!

Tough decisions though. One week after a Saskatoon Wildlife Federation 3 gun match, and same day as a Prince Albert 3gun match. Good problems to have.
 
Great to see a WRAS 3 gun match this year. Unfortunately we've got an MP3G two day match in Grande Prairie that weekend.

Pretty amazing, isn't it? To have the choice of 3 different 3 gun matches in the north half of the province on one weekend.

Yeah, having too many 3 gun matches (within driving distance) to choose from is a problem that I would like to have all summer long!

We are super proud to team up with WRAS for this.

Lakeland 3 Gun is a small but growing group that shoots out of BSSA and Cold Lake Fish and Game club.
We have been working hard to bring 3 gun to the region and grow the sport.

We'll have 11 MP3G matches in the area this year by the time we're done in October.

That is great to hear. There are a few of us that are going to try and hit a few in the near future.
We are excited that the sport is starting to take off and more clubs and people are participating.
lol...one day we may even see an Alberta provincial championship?

That would probably be like herding cats with different rules, divisions, etc. Maybe the different groups like WRAS or MP3G could take turns hosting it, that way we'd all get a chance to inflict our odd-ness on everyone. ;)

We've got our two day team match coming up Oct 1/2 in Peace River. Maybe we'll see some of you here for that.
 
Ok guys and gals. We are almost there. We will accept walk ons day of for those who are still unsure if they can make it.
