BT-99 identification

I have 4 BT-99's, three of them built in 1979, and one built in 1974. The Browning web site shows how to identify them by the serial number. The question I have is what do the last three numbers following the letters stand for? The guns built in 1979 all have different numbers, 109, 199, & 309 following the two letters. Anyone know what they represent? thanks

The web site gives the example for the 149, which, as I read it, means it's a BT-99.

I already know the year!, It is NOT the first two numbers. The years built are determined by the two letters in front of the last three numbers.
I am asking what the last three numbers represent. Please re read the question.

Have been away for few days ,and just seen your reply.
The letters are the model, last numbers after year are the serial,
unless BT99"s are different than other browning,as I don't have one.
I presume we are talking about the serial number?

Yes they are similar to other browning shotguns, no the letters are not the model. The first five numbers are the serial number, ex. 01001, the next letters are the year made, ex. RN = 1979, then there are the next three numbers. What are they?
