To make the dies I cut two identical pieces of 1/4 inch plate then ran a 1/4 inch end mill through both stacked on each other. That trued them to each other.
Then I used 1/4 inch round bar welded into one that was raised up enough to push into the other one. I also use a 100 ton press.
