Bubba or not?

Some people in the historical reenacting community have a condescending manner that suggests the 'recipient' of their unsolicited advice is ignorant of the facts. They will start a sentence with, 'Far be it from me .... (and then say something like), but those buttons weren't available in North America until after the Seven Years War. I would never use them. They just look, you know, wrong.' And this behaviour is known as 'Farbing'.

As far as a Bubba rifle, I didn't see any hacksaw marks or Canadian Tire sporting goods department accessories on that Moisin Nagant. A restored rifle / a refinished rifle / a refurbished rifle is not the same as a sporterized rifle.

Dont worry! as i can see you did an excellent job. I have refurbished many stocks on my rifle collection because some where in bad shape. I like to use antique oil and wood stain just to enchance and protect the wood.
