Bubba'ed?

I have heard this term thrown around alot, especially with old Enfields and similar milsurp guns.

What does Bubba'ed mean with respect to these guns? It sounds like some kind of modification gone wrong, but I really don't know.

I think it mean a hack jobbed gunsmithing.

It's sort of a catchall term for heavily modifying military surplus arms. It's semi-derogatory because collectors generally look down on modifying old milsurp arms, but it's barely ever used in a derogatory context from what I've seen around here.

Done cheap or poorly = bubba'd.
