Is there anyway to date when this pistol was manufactured? I am new to the collecting world, and would love to hear feedback from anyone regarding the condition it appears to be in, what NOT to do, and so forth. There had been a request for more photo's, so here is a link...

Wrong forum. Might want to try pistols and revolvers as that's NOT antique.

The fact is that this pistol might just beat the time-line - it just might have been made in lat 19th century.

I'm waiting for the OP to send us images over on the other forum he posted on...we might be able to date it if we see the proif marks, after all, this Aydt-system free pistol was made by a well-known and long-established Swiss gun-making company.

well i will never be antique classed becuse of the cal but it is nice and it could be old enough it has double triggers one seems like a set trigger seems like a target pistol of some sort
