Hi guys,
This whole story just make me sick.
I remember meeting M Pepin at a hunting show in Mtl, and thought that he was pushing his product a bit too much. Didn't like his way of abording people. When someone tells you that no other products work beside theirs was enough to stop me from buying from them. Putting down the competition is not my way of promoting ...
Not saying he is this or that, just didn't like him.
The fine, is ridicule if you ask me. It should of been double at least. For them, it's nothing. Since this "incident", it would seem that M.Pepin is no more the owner but now works for Buck Expert as a rep or something like that.
3 of these guys were caught because they sent their antlers by courrier to Qc, but driver notice that blood was leeking from the packages and then called the authorities. It's true that the carcasses were left rotting in the wood, this alone is a huge lack of respect for the game and extremely bad publicity for us hunters...
Since, lots of stories about the cie ways of doing business, including urine collection that was sold as "doe urine" but really was pig urine. That one would need to be verify but I kinda beleive it.
To finish, I think they should loose their right to hunt not only in Alberta but on all Canadian provinces, for which, I beleive, is a very light sentence.
I did bought some of their products (urine) in the past but beleive me..... no more...
Grrrrrrrr...
