They get so dumb this time of year....Need one to be this dumb in the right place and right time lol....

The kids literally followed him down the street snapping pictures...

If it's the same deer I'm thinking of he was actually bigger last year with the same kind of messed up horns. What a great looking deer.

This is Charleswood also...Last week there was a big typical in the yard 150ish class but we got not pics...

Now if he would just be dumb enough to wander into the country DURING deer season .. but maybe he has learned city life might be safer then country life - at least for a deer.

I think I saw that one near Wilkes and Perimeter last week. He had a doe cornered in some brush. He definitely had some garbage on his head.

That is about 2k from where the pics were taken so that is entirely possible...he is pretty unique and hard to miss lol...

Last year I saw a couple of huge bucks in Charleswood, in December, if I remember correctly. How close to Perimeter are you allowed to bow hunt? :p

Charleswood is the best place in the Province for big horn lol....Last year I came home from a long day of hunting well after dark and there was a massive typical 4x4 sauntering down my street and I had to honk to get him to move....

They must be using the Charleswood (Moray St.) bridge. There's a small herd of 4-6 in the Sturgeon Creek Park area. I've seen them since Sept- usually feeding along Assiniboine Cr. I "jumped" a similar buck going down to the creek to fish in mid Oct...

Regards,

Doc Sharptail

I wish a deer would do that in my yard!! I live in town, but there are no discharge bylaws...therefore mr. PSE would be sending a 100gr welcome package to mr. Buck in the front yard for sure!
