I have to quote this too. I saw the Remington Bucket at a rural CanTire and it was going for $79. Selling more than 3 times as much for only 70% more coin? That would be a smoking deal.

With that said, OP let us know how those work. Considering the (apparent) shortage of .22 ammo, I might pick one up on the way to camp next week.
 
I broke down and bought a bucket myself. I swore I'd never use 22 Remington again, but it was the only five cents per shot stuff I could find. I tried it today without any issues at all although it was still pretty dirty compared to the federal I usually shoot.
 
Boo thats where they all went. Just kidding. All my .22s love them. When people say they are dirty they will make your hands dirty. I actually found them to shoot cleaner then Winchesters. I'm on the hunt for another bucket.

I've found they work ok, though they certainly aren't the most accurate .22 out there. You want to ensure you get the ones marked "New and Improved" as the older ones WERE crap.

My only complaint is it looks like a fairy farted pixie dust all over your hands and action after you use them!!!
 
Tried out my bucket of bullets. My anshutz at 50 yard shot 3/4 inch groups with an odd flyer. At a 100 grouped good enough for gophers. Shot 10 mags though the 10/22 no misfires. tried a butler creek 25 rd mag no worse then any other I have used. I didn`t find it any dirtier then any other bulk bullets.

Over all I would rather use cci blazers or mini mags . but just for having fun shooting I would for sure buy more.
 
How many shooters in here are qualifying for competition shooting. I just reach into my 5 gallon bucket and grab to heaping hand fulls and head to my back 40. I replenish as I find it. Been shooting all types ammo since I was 7 believe or not 50th bought me 2 50rd boxs back then. And they never asked me for my pal. Dont be so picky just enjoy.
 
For how much? $79? I might have to pick up a bucket. My favorite CCI Blazer I can't find it anywhere and if I do, its a lot more than the $20 a brick it use to be. Good thing I bought 5000 rounds of it back a few years ago but I'm almost out. CCI Blazer, I've never had an issue in my 10/22 with it and it shoots decently well out of my CZ 455. I have some bulk Winchester 333 and its okay. I saw CCI Mini-Mag is now being packaged in bulk called the Choot'em Swamp People edition. I'm just wondering if its the same quality CCI Mini-Mag.
 
where ? I know cabelas have had sales but 79$ seams the normal price when I see it. Still working on my first bucket but will be picking up more. I still need to try some other ammo but so far this is the best in 597.
