I had the chance to blast off a few boxes of ammo thru a friend's buckmark (and blast off is an appropriate term)... and I can confirm, these little beast are sure fun to shoot

I have one in the sporter configuration and its a hoot to shoot.The only thing missing in my mind is a snail type drum magazine ala the artillary luger style

500 bucks for a used "defective" rifle?

Since it shoots worse at 50 meters than a crummy 10/22 shoots at 100 meters you should try and sell it for 300+change...

I tried one once and I wasn't impressed. Perhaps it was an older model (it was about 3 years ago) but it had a crappy trigger and mediocre accuracy.

Maybe you should read the forum at rimfirecentral.com about the accuracy of the heavy barrel buckmark as stated by one of their own engineers. Sad, but true. Besides $500.00 for a gun that has only fired about 150 rounds, and sells for a little over $600.00 new is a fair price.
