Well, I am looking at getting another 22, and have found 2 that I am interested in. Which would be the better of the two... this is a matter of opinion, but any experience with either or both would be appreciated.

The Buckmark is abot $150 more, but that is not a real issue. I have searched through here and found info on both, but nothing comparing the two...

I've got a Voere. It's very accurate (with iron sights and a little luck I've hit an aspirin sized target at 50 yards) and I haven't had any feed problems as long as I clean and oil it every now and then. It doesn't like CCI ammo but seems happy to fire everything else. I feed it Remington or Winchester Target pretty exclusively. It will even cycle with Remington Sub-Sonics. I'd like to find a source for magazines, but other than that I've been happy with it.

My gunsmith has seen a couple of them (mine included) come in after the bolt handle shears off during rapid fire. My Voere is older than I am, so I can forgive some metal fatigue.

Doesn't the voere fire from an open bolt? If so, then the buckmark should be more accurate. I have a buckmark and my only real gripe is that it's a real PITA to clean. That, and magazines are expensive (though I assume that would also be the case with the Voere)

Thanks so far... why is the Buckmark a pita to clean?

The looks of the bookmark don't do much for me, but the feel and pointability (if there is such a word) are great! It just fits right. So does the Voere and my Brno, but the Buckmark feels great - but different great if you know what I mean.

to get the slide off, you have to dis-mount the scope and remove the scope rail.

Agreed on the 'pointability' subject, too. That's the main reason I bought it.

Normal closed bolt. You can even lock it for single shot (so it doesn't load the next round).

I owned that EXACT Voere....that one could be mine!

Nice gun, I sold it here on the EE though (and sold it cheap if I recall correctly...like 300 bucks) Biggest issue for me was finding parts. I needed a recoil spring......ended up having to have one made (By a fellow CGN'er though :) )

The buckmark on the other hand: My hands down, all time favorite rimfire rifle. I had NO idea they had a stainless model though! Who's got 'em?

Thanks for making my night. If $300 is cheap for a Voere, I got a great deal.

Mags and most parts are still available from Voere for a 2115 annd 2114. Mags are 35 euro.

The Voere is a classic; the issue is with parts and finding one in decent shape.

The Buckmark is something with plentiful parts, a good reputation and a decent bunch of "accessories".

Both are pretty cool, I do suppose...
