Buckshot and Chokes???

Can you fire 00 buckshot through a JC Higgins pump with the 3 different screw in chokes? Do you use the choke for close range or no chokes at all?

Just want to verify it.

You can use buckshot with any of those chokes but it tends to pattern better with more open chokes, you should do some patterning to see which works best, of course you should never use a gun with screw in choke tubes without a choke tube in place.
