Budget AR

Hey guys,

I'm looking at picking up an AR (my first) but I'd like to keep cost down a bit on this one. How are the Norinco's any solid range reports just looking for accuracy and reliability. What are the primary strengths and weaknesses of this rifle. Is there other similarly priced rifles I should be looking at?

Norinco makes a good product, reliable and as accurate as I am if not better.Their biggest downfall has been fit and finish but the last few years both have improved .
Also take a look at the DPMS which can be had for just over $800. Nice rifle, shoots great and the fit and finish is very good.
