Budget Red Dot

I like the size of a reflex sight. I’ve had a Bushnell a RXS-100 for about 2 yrs
Had it on a 10-22, H&R 30-30, Henry 45 colt and a savage 243win.

Holds zero and has been solid for me. I think I paid 129.99 on sale

I put the vortex SparcII on mine. Got it on sale at Cab. It has the picatinny mount. I am able to hit 6" steel at 100 yds with it so I am happy. Have heard good things about the Romeo 5 also and it typically comes on sale in regular intervals if you are patient.

Romeo5 gets my vote. Buy when on sale at cabelas, the shake wake is a great feature.

Cabelas has put the Burris RT4 on sale within the last 2 weeks, could maybe get that at sale price still. No shake wake but has a 30mm objective.

$199 - Vortex Crossfire - easy to find, lifetime warranty, consistently cheap, great glass, lacks some modern red dot features (No shake awake or push buttons).

$179-250 - Sig Romeo 5 - Best feature set, only $179 at cabelas on sale (no low mount on cabelas package, other retailers include it for ~$250), best glass in price range imo, only 5 year warranty for electrical components from Sig.

$250 - Holosun HS403B - overall same description to the Sig Romeo 5 but with lower profile battery tray. 5 year electrical warranty.

$199 - Primary Arms MD-25 - Larger window than other micro red dots. Shake awake with rotary knob. Lifetime warranty. Cheap price for a unique red dot.

$250 - Primary Arms MD-20 - Once again same description to the Holosun/Sig. Only low mount. Lifetime warranty.

$300-350 - Primary Arms 1x Micropirsm - Fills the role of a red dot. Better for people with astigmatism. Etched reticle usable without battery. Lifetime warranty. Shake awake. Might not work with a magnifier for some (didn't for me) with ####ty eyesight. One of the cheaper ways to get a circle dot/horseshoe reticle.

Feyachi V30 on Amazon. It's better than the Bushnell IMHO and I have both.

I just sent mine back, i cant see the dot outside.

TRS-25 also co-witness' with the Ruger sights so is good for backup

Cabelas has a couple of the bushnell red dots on sale for wild wednesday and these can be combined with the current bushnell rebate.

Holosun 407c is as cheap as I'd go. RMR pattern.

Bushnell has a sale once or twice a year, and Rangeview Sports puts the TRS-25 on sale frequently. I have three and for the money they are perfect.
