Yeah if your on a budget its hard to justify buying a 50$ scope. When you buy it you are now 50 more dollars away from having a reasonable scope plus you have a piece of crap to throw out.
I like to shop around in gun shows for cheap old scopes about $20 (mostly Japanese made Tasco or Weaver scopes), and their quality are much better than many scopes nowadays...
