Is there a way to buff out or clean off parkerized barrel finish scratches from branches/bushes, ect... ??? Ended up with alot of scratches, brushes, ect.. against shrubs and trees. Thought I would ask before trying stuff myself. Just a coat of oil or something ???

I've had scuffs on the park of my AR15 quite a few times and I found that using gun oil helped a little bit, although not entirely depending on how severe the scuffs are.

The best you can do is burnish down the rest of the surface to even it up. That'll make the rest of the barrel look like the scratches.

Not sure what would work best for this as I don't have any Park'ed guns of my own. But I've seen the sort of smooth "shiney" scuffs and handling marks mentioned by the others and it seems like the best way out of a scuffed looking surface is to simply use something hard enough to "scuff" the whole surface. But not something so hard that it'll abrade the finish from the metal. Perhaps start with a plastic pot scrubber, if that isn't enough escalate to a copper or brass scrubber. If that's not enough then test a bit of steel wool on it in an inconspicuous spot.

But do NOT use anything like a Scotchbrite or similar cleaning pad. Those have abrasive particles in them and they WILL cut right down to metal.

oil is about it. park is a crystalline structure that gets crushed or scraped away and really cannot be repaired.

Exactly.

If you paint over it before any oil is applied, you get a finish that is extremely tough and can be repaired reasonably well.
