Does anybody know the secret password or handshake to get an order from Buffalo Arms into Canada?

I've got a small list of items, obscure projectiles, brass, that I can't get anywhere else.

They have a $450 export fee on Canadian orders. I have to wonder if that includes a kick between the legs at the door too. Are we SOL here or has someone figured out a way that makes sense?

Cheers,

Projectiles and brass are the problem, they stopped exporting them without a permit years ago. Pretty much all other goods they sell are fine to ship.

Could you orchestrate a deal between them and IRG?

I looked into Prophet River but it's $50 per line item. It pretty much doubles the price, then you've got double shipping. Very painful.

Isn't IRG their fee per "order" not line? I could be wrong of course. And they may not want to juggle the buffalo order anyway.

I used to order from Buffalo Arms somewhat regularly but gave up a couple years ago. It's getting ridiculous trying to get gun stuff from the US and ammo components particularly.

Maybe post your needs and see if anyone can point you to domestic or European sources. ITAR is creating the opportunity for some niche businesses and small suppliers in Canada who might be able to help you out.

For reloading components they need to get a US export permit and that's where the big fee is coming from. Talk to IRG and see if they can help, or Prophet River. Otherwise I think you're stuck with the fee.

I just received a small order from B.A. just muzzleloading stuff, top punch, gas checks..... Took 3 weeks to arrive.
