Buffalo Bore Ammo is ALL in Stock!

What would make a load unapproved for Canada?

Every single load has to be individually approved in Canada. ie, not just the manufacturer. That is why when a new 'caliber' comes out, there is a delay getting it into Canada while the USA has it for months. So, unless someone takes it upon themselves to apply for it, it cannot come into Canada commercially.

Well isn't that interesting !
Didn't realize there was another bureaucratic funnel to go through for ammo.
Geeeez...it's easier to cross the border into Canada illegally (by invitation of PM TatterTot) and be provided accommodation at the taxpayers expense than it is for a business to bring product in for sale to citizens.

So Explosives Canada gets a box of ammo, shoots it, and makes sure it performs the way the manufacturer says it does?

Well, that would make sense but because it can't be legally imported to send to them, they normally base approval on manufacturers specs.

Lol..then there's no point of even dealing with Explosives Canada. Just promise the CBSA you'll text a picture of the box to those imbeciles and call it a day...ammo for everyone.:p

So Delicious!!!! Look at all that yummy 10mmAuto, 44 Magnum, .40 ammunition :)

Anyone have any experience with their .40 SW options?

Is it just made that much better? or whats the scoop? Pretty pricey for 20round/box.

Is there a difference, if one were to just load a 200gr .40 bullet, and load it 10-15% hotter?

Addition:

It appears that there is ALOT of oomph on these.... 125gr copper HP .40 putting out 550+ ft/lb of energy... Impressive.

Base approval on Manufactures Specs that the Manufacture makes up themselves - Sounds LIKE our Wonderfull " STUPID " Goverment ! d:h: RJ

Sound like the tip of the stupid iceberg. One branch of the govt can't do their job because another branch won't import a test sample for them? It makes you wonder how all the corrosive chinese surplus got in the country. How do you know there isn't rat poison mixed in the powder?
ESSB: Uhhh we don't know because we don't have any to test, but the chinese have always been pretty trustworthy when it comes to declaring what's in their products. f:P:2:
