Buffalo Bore ammunition in Canada?

I've made some inquiries about the availability of the superb "BUFFALO BORE" ammunition in Canada.

Anecdotal (gossip) sources have indicated that a Canadian company called Sterling Cross out of Abbotsford, BC has secured permission to import Buffalo Bore ammo into Canada and that it could be available in weeks.

I used this premium ammo back in the day and it is kick azz, accurate stuff.

Anybody else heard anything?

I ordered Short Barrel 357 mag. Just checked and my Visa has NOT been charged with the order even though my order was processed and I have an order number. I'll let you know if and when the stuff actually shows up.

Darkw is correct in it having to be approved by NRCan. And that's a long process. There is good news/bad news on that - Buffalo Bore is in the process of being approved BUT not for their pistol ammo - their +p ammo was causing issues in the process because of NRCan's headstamping requirements. Hopefully, once their rifle ammo is approved, they will go through the pistol ammo process again, as I 100% agree on the decent 10mm stuff being in high demand. We are working hard to bring in a selection of 10mm this year, we have a huge long list of people waiting for it and we're determined to have some on offer. Federal has been on back order for coming up to a year, but we have other brands on order, and will continue to look for more Can't guarantee it'll be the high powered stuff, but we'll do our best."
 
I won't be sure until it's in my hands. I did email them and ask, they said they can ship it. I filled in an order and it was processed complete with order confirmation. However, checked my Visa account and have not been charged so who knows? If and when it shows up, I'll let you know.

It has not arrived yet, but my credit card has been charged. They also sent me an email that the ammo should be in Canada first week in May and they will forward me the Canpar tracking number when it arrives. I will post here if it does show up or if they change their minds.
 
any news if they have it in 45-70. I just bought a box from the Bullet Barn and a excited to try it out...390 grains brinell hardness of 25 and I think close to 1800 fps. I gotta check again for the fps but Im sure it said 1800ish
 
Arrived this afternoon via Canpar. 2 boxes Buffalo Bore Short Barrel, low flash, low recoil 357 magnum. Not cheap or fast, but at least it arrived :)
 
I just received my Buffalo Bore 45-70 ammo from Sterling Cross today. The girl Karyn was awesome and said she had most of the rifle calibers in stock with another order on the way..
 
International Shooting Supplies in Surrey has .308 Win Buffalo in stock as of yesterday. Don't know about any other cal they may have.
