buffer tube/pistol grip shotgun

had an idea of being able to put a buffer tube/pistol grip adapter on a shotgun to be able to change out the pistol grip or stock to any ar style stock/ pistol grip i wanted. did a bit of looking and found the Mesa stock adapter which is exactly what i was thinking

just an aluminum adapter to attach to the shotgun then you can attach the buffer tube and pistol grip. has anyone ever seen these? used one? know where to get one in Canada or know if they're still even made?

The Mesa stock kit is a solid setup, really well built. Have had mine now on a Grizzly for a couple years, there’s a couple places in Canada you can by them from. Iirc I got mine from GP Tactical.

I've been using one on my 590A1 for years, it's a great adaptor and Mesa Tactical has some great customer service for replacing broken parts.

If you use a Magpul CTR or moe stock , limbsaver makes a nice soft recoil pad for it .
Also , get a recoil buffer tube , I think crosshair make them , I know Brownells carry them .

I have a Winchester... I did see one somewhere online for a winchester 1200 but dont see it anywhere that sells mesa. May be another brand or discontinued, I'll have to try and find that again. If not may be time for a new shotgun

Yeah, sadly most of the tactical accessories are for Remington and Mossberg.

The Mesa Tactical stuff is quite expensive.

But it is very well made. Worth the money if it's a gun you'll shoot a lot.
