Buffer weight

Adjustable gas block works a lot better than H buffer, fix the problem not mask it. Then again, a heavy buffer will increase dwell time/lock time.

Mine is a NEA and i used an adjustabke gas block. Tames down on the gas pressure and recoil both at the same time

Wish there was some kind of chart so I wouldn't have to buy 4 different buffers and try them all. I know the stock ones on NEA rifles are standard carbine so I might just get an H and see how that goes.

Since you already have a carbine buffer you could buy an H3 and experiment by swapping the weights between the two until you find the combo you like the best. The only difference between them is that the H buffers replace the stainless weights with tungsten. One tungsten equals H, two for H2, three for H3.

Good point. I think this will be the best way to find what I am looking for. Thanks!

Keep in mind that 7.62x39 achieves lower chamber pressure than 5.56 so heavier buffers can sometimes lead to short stroking. Most folks will do just fine with std carbine buffer. Nothing wrong with experimenting though.
