Been around the AR game a while now but never had anything to do with hydralic buffers. Can anybody relate their experience's to me with them.
Specifically the Endyne Hyd. buffer and use in 9mm carbines. mine is pretty tame now but would like to see how soft I could make it shoot. If you have any suggestions on recoil management I would be interested.
Where in Canada can you get them as well?

Google search was fairly useless and looked here but couldn't find.I too had heard reliability was an issue.
Blaxsun, what you working on? All this started on the weekend when I found that my 9mm jumped around way more than my .223. I usually use my 9mm. to introduce new to AR shooters (youngsters..They in their mind are less intimidated by size of caseing than .223) I can shoot it all day fast and dead-on but would love to make it as smooth as a .22-...maybe not poss./has anybody played with bolt mass reduction?

That it was. All I could find were vague references to issues with the bolt not locking back, but I was fortunate enough to find someone else on CGN that had run the Enidine buffers and he indicated that the buffer spring needed to be shortened by a few coils to solve the issue with the increased tension on the charging handle and the bolt failing to lock back.

I'm running a 7" PDW and aside from the current issue with the bolt not locking back, this thing runs like a dream! No recoil whatsoever - zero. It's like shooting a pellet gun... (except for the fact that it's fairly loud being only 7"). I haven't played around with bolt mass reduction, no.

This is the one I was thinking of

I couldn't find it in a search either. But since Blaxun started that one, his current responses are probably what you need for info.

bolt mass

Umm, I could be wrong, but I think you would want a HEAVIER bolt group if recoil reduction is what you are after.

These sub cal. guns due to blowback design are different than DI cals. The felt recoil is due to the mass of bolt not the calibre. my 9mm bolt is nearly twice the weight of my .223, There is virtually no muzzle jump only the slam of the bolt.
