..but, can ¿ steel case be reloaded?? (I'm sure there's a utube video on thatlol I havent checked.-YET- So, this makes 'Steel' case (worth) what? .75-90cent per round?
Steel cases are usually berdan primed, which is a pain in the arse compared to boxer primed cases.

We wouldn't have the finances to even take advantage. The only Russian better than a broke Russian is a dead Russian or a Russian that won't go along with their country's insane attempts to end the world or cause WWIII. And if Europe did take big portions of Russia that would be excellent for us. Those Czechs sure love exporting ammo lol.

Barnaul steel cases can be reloaded several times (at least). I watched many Youtube videos people doing that in Russia, but special tools (usually homemade) are used for handling Berdan primers. And of course it is very cheap to do it over there with local components.

When you use that word to describe people who are against the wishes of a madman who commands an army comprised of scared, confused children and the most sick people on earth, it very much devalues the words from it's horrific origins. Look into Ukraine, see what has been done to who, by who, and realize the Russian Army has gone from a quasi-near peer adversary (they aren't in reality) to a group of war criminals who have done truly terrible things.
People are going to need to be held responsible for this. x2 if they do try and take Moldova (or just Transnistria), which UK intelligence has suggested. There are people fighting for their country and those who invade. You need to reevaluate how you assess conflicts, and how you doll out political insults. You're doing much more harm than good.
The russian military is what it is. Just like the nazis from azov are what they are, as per the worlds hero Elensky. Doesn't change the fact you are wishing the extermination of a nation. You cry about the poor ukrainians yet wish death upon others. It wasn't the Russians that have been shelling their own citizens for the past 8 years

No one held the Americans responsible for all the mass murder they committed in the name of "democracy" in the countries they devastated, because they were the victors. About Transnistria it is Arestovich and his klan that are proposing a invasion of Transnistria by Ukrainina and Romanian forces (it wouldn't be the first time they invaded either, in 1992 they jointly went in with their Russian brothers and started butchering Romanians), thus bringing the war ever closer to NATO's borders. I would rather leave them settle their own accounts, and not send our people to die for ukraines oligharcs just like the young Russians are dying for their oligharcs. Moldova would be way better off without Transnistria anyways.
Without further derailing this business thread, i have went ahead and bought some 7.62x39.

If I was russia, I would be worried about a boarding country that was overthrown by neo nazis, shelling its own people (donesk) and allowing itself to be a nato puppet. Its sad for the civilians of ukraine, they're government has caused this state of affairs. I think too many peoples cold war propaganda training is kicking in and too much trust in current main stream.. there's always 2 sides to a story

I don't want to get into in this thread at all but it's sad how many people trust the mainstream media and our leaders.
How does everyone think the United states would react if here in Canada there was an election in which there was a party strongly for closer ties with the USA and a party strongly for closer relations with China.
The pro America party wins, then you immediately have foreign funded and organized protests in Ottawa wanting to become part of China with people obviously not from around there being paid to protest.
While these "protests" are going on a small group of people open fire on the "protestors", this is blamed on the government, and in the chaos and carefully curated story of "look what the government did to it's own people" parliament is stormed and power seized by self avowed neonazi militias funded and organized by Chinese businessman.
This power bloc gains control of part of the Canadian military, conscripts a bunch of random people, then attempts to take over the entire country by force. When some of the major cities near the border go "wtf no, we don't want to be China, and this is clearly a foreign coup and not a people's revolution" the new army promptly opens fire and shells the crap out of any resistance until the Americans see what's happening on their border and send in their army to try to protect anglophones from the new regime, which BTW want to let the Chinese army set up operations and plant missiles directly on the border, and which use actual litteral nazi militias to do their killing.
How do you think America would respond to that, followed by almost a decade of bloody Civil War right on their doorstep? Would they be wrong to intervene? Would you want them to? It certainly wouldn't be a simple case of oppertunistic aggression if they did.
Russia is not the good guys here. Canada/America is not the good guys here. The Ukranian regime is definitely not the good guys here.
But let's all understand this current escalation is along time in the making, going back to 2014 when a government that was fairly elected was overthrown by outside forces that promptly declared war on parts of the country that weren't happy about their government being toppled.
It was largely provoked by Ukraine instead of abiding by the internationally brokered Minsk II agreement and recognizing the special status of the breakaway republics, pressured by the ultra nationalist factions that hold the balance of power in the country, instead built up a 60,000 solider strong army and was in the process of getting ready to destroy them before the Russians intervened.

What the Russians are doing is bad and they should be punished for it.
What the Ukrainian government is doing is bad, and they should be punished for it instead of being aided by ours.
From the amount of volunteers on both sides fighting it's clear this is a true civil war between two culturally very different group of people forced together in an artifical political entity that's the legacy of communism like the former Yugoslavia was.
And just like in the precident set by Yugoslavia the distinct parts of the country should be allowed to separate and govern themselves.

This right here. I've never been able to wrap my head around it. You either trust them or you don't, I can't understand how you can distrust someone so completely on one thing but take their word as gospel on another. It's pure insanity.
