How would you react if here in Canada we elected a populist government that actually represented your interests and after a few months of obviously astroturfed protests it was overthrown and we got another fake, Globalist WEF great reset agenda following government?
What would having a backbone look like in that case?
What I'm sticking up for, if anything, is fact that the organizations who orchestrated the regime change in Ukraine 8 years ago are the same organizations who have infiltrated and subverted our entire political and cultural institutions here. And are currently feeding you "this is all because Russia bad and Zelensky good" propaganda.
So yes, I genuinely sympathize with people who saw what happened when the globalists want to run your country but an election doesn't go their way, and decided they were fighting.

I assure you the part of the country that has spent the last 8 years getting shelled and murdered by ultranationalist state organized and funded militias larping around with nazi insignia, paraphernalia, and ideology may be quite happy to see them.
That's been documented beyond all doubt, how do you not see an organized force of skinheads proudly sporting swastika tats and banners fighting a bloody Civil War in their country and not go "huh the news says these are the good guys, maybe they're not".
Of course not every Ukranian or Ukrainian military member fits that description, but as a whole they condone it and the ones fighting on the front until recently have come from the most fanatical fitting that description.
So yes, some are welcoming the Russians.
There should have been a political solution to what's happening in Ukraine, everyone involved in guilty in it escalating to this point, and whatever the peacefull solution was it certainly didn't have a place for the nazis

This indeed. I personally think A LOT of people in western society, especially millennials like myself dont really understand the severity of the whole Ukraine situation and how quickly WW3 can erupt. Instead everybodys nose deep in TikTok and Will Smith drama.

Russia never threatened Sweden or Finland since WWII because they stayed neutral. Now that they are talking about joining NATO, it's another story.
No system is perfect; regardless of the political system, royalty, capitalism, communism, socialism, dictature..... the average guy is always the one being used as cannon fodder by their elites. Remove your current leader and another one of the same kind will rise to the top sooner or later. Rinse and repeat !!
