What your planning on doing, is extending your barrel, tap/dye, and putting in some vertical slots on the extension.
This type of muzzle brake will not be anywhere as effective as the Numrich $45-->>$75US 2 gas chambers, triple ports, stainless that are slide wide/high and rather techy to emmulate in the ballistic world, at lest the $75 one is.
Albeit the Numrich $75 one is a bit of a tech overkill, with the muzzle flip gas capture first, and side way forward gas capture re-router, and delivers a real effective gas capture, that sends a lot of carbon down to the outside of the barrel chamber...turns my stailess barrel ACP pretty black after a 50 rounds...no problems except the price I guess.
Your Brake style will not do that much for muzzle flip, even a shock buff is more effective, but your gun will look like a sure pretty race gun.
