how's the prismatic leupold and mount combo working for you?
it's one of those or a IOR pitbull for the next build, and i'm curious as to how you find it and have you used it in various lighting conditions?
 
The Leupold is a great scope, crisp and clear, typical of a Leupold. The scope is a tank, I haven't beat on it at all but it seems like its bullet proof. It has various illumination options and is very bright in low light. The GG&G mount is an anchor and a half. Nice and solid lock up.
 
I've got a Tactical Link Battery Assist Lever for sale. It's not in the EE yet under my Parts and Bits post, but will be shortly. It used to be on my AR but I replaced it with a single piece unit.

As for the Redi-Mods, go to One Shot Tactical Supply's website. I spoke with Rebecca there, and they should have some left. As of Monday they had 10 in stock. They're pricey, but whatever, they rock. http://www.oneshottactical.com/
 
I've got to be honest though. I really enjoyed building it and getting all the parts. I highly doubt I'll bring myself to selling this rig for the time being, but who knows. Some of these parts were rather elusive, but I managed to get them. So I asked my wife this the other day when she caught me coddling it "How would you spend 5 thousand bucks?"

Man she got pissed...

It was funny...

I back tracked to say the least...

Five thousand dollars? :eek:

You could have bought a new KAC SR15 kitted out with Aimpoint and Magnifier for that price! Or a LMT with a Short Dot or NF 1-4.
 
Yeah, no kidding....

My SR-15 with UBR stock, Nightforce 1-4 in LaRue mount, VCAS sling and AFG would still come in under $5k.

Once I put on a TripleTap it'll probably be over, but at that point, I wouldn't even compare the two guns....
